The scariest moment of my life is hard to pinpoint. There have been a few scary moments. Climbing the rock walls at Taylor’s falls was scary, just as my first time successfully jumping off the high dive was scary. Having to jump from a horse at full gallop because your saddle went sidewise and it was either jump or end up under the horse… that was scary. And it really hurt. Having a gun pointed at you, getting jumped by 3 guys while being all alone, or having to get out of an apartment after being punched in the head by a doped up junky who wants to throw down hardcore is also scary.
I would have to say though that for me the scariest moments are the ones I pursue every day as a creator. To take a piece of who I am, put it down in some physical way, whether in writing or illustration, and put it out there for people to see. There is a huge fear in that, a fear you’ll show too much and people will reject you, or just not appreciate your work. That fear is something I take on willingly because when you find someone who connects with your work, the risk is worth it.

What was the scariest moment of your life?

Dude, where have you lived that stuff like this happens to you?
I think every creator has a fear of failure, but a drive to put it all out there. Two very opposing factors in life that if you want to create something will come into your life.
